dlewis23 Posted May 27, 2006 CID Share Posted May 27, 2006 that is a good modem, but i would take a look at the Dlink DCM-202 you will not have to call them. when you plug the new modem in, a page will come up asking for your account #. once you enter the # it will regester everything and you will be good. You might want to check with RR to see what they think before you buy it.. I dont know their policy about users using their own equipment on their network. DLewis is right.. most of the ISPs have a self configure page that you can register a new modem on.. but I would still call just to get the ok.
