ss Posted August 10, 2006 CID Share Posted August 10, 2006 Strange problem that I would like some ideas on - My users randomly lose name resolution or ability to find websites. Pinging a site returns incorrect IP information. Internal network connection(s) still run fine. I can restore funtionality by: a. rebooting or b. Disabling the network connection in windows, then enabling it again or c. using windows xp repair Small network - 15 or so users. Windows Domain - PDC to ISP through Cisco Most Users are XP/DHCP I thought it was virus/spyware. I cleaned and clean and scanned and scanned and found very little. Nothing to mention. Then the problem went away for a few days. Now it is back. Ideas?
