Blunted 2 Posted August 14, 2006 CID Share Posted August 14, 2006 thats odd that you still have packetloss but try this file and we'll look into other stuff after that. this is probably the lowest i ever had to set any of my settings and a few of my friends for ool so lets see. Blunted 2 Posted August 14, 2006 CID Share Posted August 14, 2006 how about the other tests ? is this an overall improvement for you? just post up any problems you happen to have and we'll help ya :D
Doriginal Posted August 14, 2006 Author CID Share Posted August 14, 2006 WOW Blunted you are good at what u do. Many Many Thanks for this great improvement!!! Iam averaging speeds no less than 19.5mbps and as high as 29mbps! I was curious about two more things, My Panda internet security keeps giving me an intrusion warning under the category "spoofing" every so often. Could this be affecting my internet in any way? All virus and spyware scans come up clean. Also just out of curiosity what is your lowest speed when testing when there is congestion? Because I know you have a great speed and I was wondering if you ever go as low as 19mbps. Just curious. And thanks so much for all your time and effort!! Doriginal Posted August 14, 2006 Author CID Share Posted August 14, 2006 Now another question, lol, Now I cant seem to get anything past 19mbps on this site. Is that from traffic on the site?
gotmilk Posted August 14, 2006 CID Share Posted August 14, 2006 Something that bothered me with both of your "statistics" from that test... ------ Web100 Detailed Analysis ------ 10 Mbps Ethernet link found. I dunno, maybe it's a fluke...
Blunted 2 Posted August 14, 2006 CID Share Posted August 14, 2006 the test reads it wrong cause all OOL users get that to some of those tests. Doriginal no its probably not cause i get from high teens to high 20's and its distance to the website and the route they take to it. i have the same problem with some friends and they get fast to other sites when i get slow to the ones they are fast at. its your node most likely but try these setting for a few days and test during the day and night to see how much of a difference there is and if you want to mess around more just ask here and we can tell you what to do. Doriginal Posted August 14, 2006 Author CID Share Posted August 14, 2006 Ok I will leave these settings for a day or two. I will keep you posted on new tests that I do. Thanks Again and Again Blunted. And thanks to anyone else that also helped me.

tommie gorman Posted August 14, 2006 CID Share Posted August 14, 2006 Yes, Iam using CCleaner before testing. ccleaner is a bit strong just to test. And removes the cookies. Unregisters you from the forum. Just click on Tools at the top of the browser-Internet options*Delete Files Including Offline content*OK*OK*Test. That might keep you from hanging so much. I posted off of my e-mail. Had no idea I had missed so much.
