fastbreaker Posted August 19, 2006 Author CID Share Posted August 19, 2006 I dont know what you mean, but i do know this. We were having problems with our internet... it would quit working for like 1 or 2 min at a time. We got a bellsouth guy to come help and he checked the box where the dsl line comes through and said that something what unusually high, i think it was latency??? Anyways, he figured out something was wrong with our westell modem and he gave us a newer version that tells you when something is wrong. Since the new modem the speed has gone from around 1,120Kbps to 1,896Kbps.. a huge speed increase. If you tell me what synked is i can probally tell you. Did they give you a black westel 6100 modem?
fastbreaker Posted August 19, 2006 Author CID Share Posted August 19, 2006 Yes, thats exactly it... Model: C90-610030-06 Rev: G Its a westell modem that has the lights: Power, Ethernet, USB, DSL, Internet. When the our internet was messed up on our old white westell the 'ready' light blinked... this one it showed the 'Internet' light was red to tell us that something was wrong. I dont know my sync rate... is there a link or anything you can give me to test it???
