php Posted August 18, 2006 CID Share Posted August 18, 2006 Your service provider has to change your IP from static to dynamic, you can't do that yourself. No-ip.com should work well in most situations however.
Swimmer Posted August 18, 2006 CID Share Posted August 18, 2006 No-ip should work as php pointed out... basically it assigns a static domain name to a dynamic address.. you run their client on your router and it updated the DNS servers when your WAN IP changes... You might experience some loss of connectivity when/if the WAN is changed.. as it takes about 5-10 minutes for the DNS to refresh.
