stevehas Posted August 26, 2006 CID Share Posted August 26, 2006 I currently have an Airport Extreme base station sharing my Verizon DSL connection with; Mac 10.3 (connected via ethernet cable) iMac 10.4 (connected via Airport card) Window XP on an AMD 64 Athlon (connected via D-Link 802.11G pci card). Can use this gear if I upgrade to FiOS? The Verizon web site says that Fios does not support wireless adapters on the Mac?

stevehas Posted September 9, 2006 Author CID Share Posted September 9, 2006 This rocks Verizon did the most amazing install job. They mounted a board on the all of my basement and mounted all the hardware to it. It looks very very slick! The installers were very cool, and even set me up so when I go to Vonage the install will back fill all the phones in my house. The Actiontec router is covering one end of my house, and my airport extreme repeats it on the other end of the house! This rocks I am getting full 5 meg speed wirelessly, now I'm going for the full. I am thrilled beyond words!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Suck this Comcast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
