tommie gorman Posted September 10, 2006 CID Share Posted September 10, 2006 So what is the difference between this and our own Folding At Home?
RTB Posted September 10, 2006 CID Share Posted September 10, 2006 Folding@home just takes whatever amount of cpu cycles it's allowed to take to run experiments on protein folding. The grid they're talking about is more like remote access to your CPU cycles, and it can be made to run anything. But they'll be monitoring for abuse of course. Shameless plug: Folding@home needs more power, and your CPU can help. Clicky for information on how to install it.
