champyG Posted September 26, 2006 CID Share Posted September 26, 2006 well, i used to get good speeds, then it just seemed to slow down and now when i try to do any tweaks, it just gets even slower. im gonna use VanBuren's guide for posting http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-2097 1.) i am running WinXP with SP2 and i have the p2p fix with limit set at 50 2.) RoadRunner cable 5mb down, 512kb up 3.) i have run many different versions of Cablenut Settings and ive tried TCP Optimizer. I've also tried the calculator for CableNut..no luck. i think ive reset my registry to default, but not sure. need some help here before i start doing more tweaks. here are analyzer results... SpeedGuide.net TCP/IP Analyzer TCP properties for IP = Browser/OS = Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.7) Gecko/20060909 Firefox/1.5.0.7 Notes: Read the Analyzer FAQ if the above is not your IP address. coknuck Posted September 26, 2006 CID Share Posted September 26, 2006 champyG, Give this one a shot. After you add the settings reboot your computer. It might take a little while for the effects to show.
