raptors892004 Posted January 8, 2007 CID Share Posted January 8, 2007 Just wondering if TKIP or AES is the better encrption. I chose AES because I heard of it + I know its 128-bit (for TKIP it doesn't mention its key-size in the router). Thanks for any replies. Swimmer Posted January 9, 2007 CID Share Posted January 9, 2007 AES is more secure... It was developed for the US Military to replace DES.. Basically TKIP is done in software where AES is all hardware based. So there is less overhead coming down the OSI model.
