Voltageman Posted February 3, 2007 CID Share Posted February 3, 2007 Ok, I have been going wacko trying to figure out what the hell was going on with my IE7. (I know firefox/opera/blah blah blah is better ) Anyway, I was having problems when trying to access secure websites, such as online banking. I tried everything, including removing any expired certificates etc.... Long story short, I finally figured out that an option on Kaspersky was causing this.. Under Settings/Service/Network Settings, if you have it set to check encrypted connections, you will get the certificate error. Once disabled, the error does not occur.... I'm using x64, but I get this error under 32bit IE7, so I assume it would cause the same problem under x86 XP. Just figured I would point this out to anyone else that uses Kaspersky and IE7.
