Junerian Posted February 16, 2007 CID Share Posted February 16, 2007 Well I have an amd 3200+ and an ati card -not sure exactly which at this moment cuz I'm at school- but would they be compatible with mac OS X? I'm thinking of dual booting my windows vista with mac but don't wanna waist my money on mac if I can't boot it with my specs

Swimmer Posted February 17, 2007 CID Share Posted February 17, 2007 You can boot OSx on x86 intel platforms.. When tiger was release there was a huge hacker fest to see who could boot it first... Look around the net there a many installation guides.. but unfortunately you have an AMD system... there is NO way to boot OS X on an AMD system. Swimmer Posted February 17, 2007 CID Share Posted February 17, 2007 the minimum specs is a processor that supports SSE2.. but yeah you might get it up and running.. but it is a pirated version.. <- not good.
