coknuck Posted April 13, 2007 CID Share Posted April 13, 2007 You don't need to reboot to clear your cache but you do need to reboot every time you change numbers with cablenut. Just go to Tools>internet options>Delete temp. files>OK> OK then take test.

anorris.tc Posted April 13, 2007 Author CID Share Posted April 13, 2007 *l* True, they should upgrade to something more modern like fibre optics; they've neglected their lines for some time; Plus they just are in the phase of fully switching over from Adelphia to Time Warner. coknuck Posted April 13, 2007 CID Share Posted April 13, 2007 I wish Insight would upgrade to fiber also. Hell the main line is 29 years old to my house but from the pole to the modem is all new. A lot of people caught in the change over from Adelphia say the same thing.
anorris.tc Posted April 13, 2007 Author CID Share Posted April 13, 2007 All the companies care about is money. They no longer put emphasis on Research but instead maintaining their current equipment. You'd need to move out of the country to see some progress. But thanks for your help. If it doesn't improve by Saturday I'll start complaining to the pitiful customer service they have.
