GIXXERGUY6 Posted April 27, 2007 CID Share Posted April 27, 2007 I recently got a D600 for surfing the web and such while I'm away from the desk. It's working fine, kinda. The desktop is connected via wire and is getting 80 latency, speed is 8000, and 384, the laptop is wireless, I just installed the drivers and such cause i did a fresh install on the laptop, and it's only maxing out at 2500, why is this? How can I fix this? I should be connecting and getting the same speeds as the wired. I'm 6 feet from the router and the external ant. is on the top of the desk in plain site. I'm using Dell Wireless Wlan Card Utility(could this be it? but none of the others worked) it's connected at 54.0 with excellent signal. Can someone help me please. thanks in advance.
