dlewis23 Posted June 13, 2007 CID Share Posted June 13, 2007 1080p is much better. 1080i is interlaced so it drawls one line then skips one, then drawls another after it gets a whole page it goes back and drawls in the lines it didn't do before. 1080p is progressive so it does one line then another, never skips anything. 1080i fits in a 720p display so your never really seeing the fill image. 1080p costs alot more. 1080p has one draw back, since it is such high res. you really need a 4 mega pixel (twice what 1080p is) to see the full image like its suppose to be.
