KruL Posted July 24, 2007 CID Share Posted July 24, 2007 Router: Wireless G Plus MIMO Router Version: 3100 Model #: F5D9230-4 Firewall: Sygate Personal Firewall Pro #1 Hey guys, Yesterday I bought a router so I could play my 360 on live and be online at the same time (wired connection). Since I started using it, my internet has been acting weirdly. The only thing I changed in the settings was to turn UPNP off so I could join my friends Halo2 games. It shows my internet connection as off. It doesn't allow me to start new connections (mozilla, new downloads, etc.) but my downloads (or AIM, MSN) that I had going when the connection dies continue to keep acting normally. It's rather annoying and happens 1-2 times every 30min. To fix the problem I have to restart the modem which is beginning to be a hassle . Results from network test: -When connection dies. KruL Posted July 24, 2007 Author CID Share Posted July 24, 2007 It looks as if some cablenut tweaks have raised my download back to normal, maybe even higher speeds. I guess the only problem I have now is to fix the connection problems. ;/
