Martenlaker Posted August 14, 2007 CID Share Posted August 14, 2007 I live in Ontario, Canada and recently had a satellite internet dish installed. The installer advised that a special piece of equipment is required to line up the satellite dish. I have moved a TV satellite dish numerous times without problems by using a compass and knowing the number of degree's above the horizon. Does anyone know how to find the degree's (SW) in my case as well as degree's above the horizon. Installer's don't seem to want to give out this info. since they make about $100. to come out and reset the dish if it moves. Thanks. granpa Posted August 15, 2007 CID Share Posted August 15, 2007 Martenlaker to the forum. I know Hughes but if you have another system I myself don't know about their parameters. What is your ISP?
