This wouldn't be such a big issue if the dedicated server hosts would stop giving 500+ ip address with each server. They are the big problem. I don't know of anyone that needs 500 ip address for one server.

That better stop real soon, or everything needs to get changed to ipv6 real fast.

Agreed. Here's what they say about it:

2008 seems to be the year when the Internet address space becomes very hard to get.
