Never once have I even achieved a test result of 6000, max I've EVER gotten... maybe 1.5. So I call Bellsouth, they come over to my house, and tell me its my computer thats the problem. Well, for Christmas, I received a brand new Core 2 Duo computer and the speeds are as slow as ever. Heres the latest and greatest test: :::.. Download Stats ..::: Download Connection is:: 389 Kbps about 0.4 Mbps (tested with 386 kB) Download Speed is:: 47 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net/ (Main) Test Time:: 2007/12/26 - 2:35pm Bottom Line:: 7X faster than 56K 1MB Download in 21.79 sec Tested from a 386 kB file and took 8.141 seconds to complete Download Diagnosis:: May need help : running at only 11.89 % of your hosts average (bellsouth.net) D-Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-7U6JZ92KP User Agent:: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 [!] Can't wait for cable to come to our area, hell, got better readings from non-high speed cable provider about 2 years ago.
