Guest ExtremeFusion Posted February 2, 2008 CID Share Posted February 2, 2008 @LeMueL when you're in your canopy configuration page... click on PDA then click on AP evaluation look for the AP that has a high RSSI, low sector usage count and low Jitter (1-2) then take note of the color code of that particular AP... then click on configuration, then click to Radio, then replace the color code in that page with the one you got from AP evaluation.. but take note of your previous color code so you can revert back again the way it was before...in case something is bad about your new color code or AP and if this still not works.. you may want to try some proxy like proxy.smartwifi.com.ph use port 8080 BTW, may i ask the spec of your PC since you said you are using Vista, is it premium or basic.. home or ultimate? derek22x Posted February 3, 2008 CID Share Posted February 3, 2008 Try changing to the AP with the best statistics like low Jitter, High Power Level ( the closer the number to 0, the better) and High RSSI. To change APs, follow EntremFusion's steps on how to check for available APs then take note of the ColorCode. Go to Configuration then RADIO tab. Change your color code, save changes then reboot. And BTW, you said 20 - 30kB/s, are you trying to say kilobits or kilobytes coz if it's kilobytes, 20-30 sounds normal to most Smart Bro users. That'll be around 240 kilobits per second.
