ninjageek Posted April 23, 2008 CID Share Posted April 23, 2008 I am really considering hard, Disel motor, used vegitable oil, IM sure you have all seen how its done. Tons of resturants would gladly give it to ya. May be the wave of the future, only downside, your car smells like french fries.
Storm311 Posted April 23, 2008 CID Share Posted April 23, 2008 I can see it now, I'm following behind you with my t-tops off. Buntz Posted April 24, 2008 CID Share Posted April 24, 2008 I think another downside is cold weather. The oil gels up in cold weather so you need some kind of fuel heater if you live in a cold climate. Tractor trailer use fuel heater when they run in cold climate you might be able to use the same heater they use. You might have to modify it to work with vegetable oil. Also be sure this is the right thing for you. You can't just stick it in your car from the place you got it and off you go. And be sure you can get it, and not have a problem getting it in the future with the way diesel prices are.
