steelwolf Posted January 13, 2009 CID Share Posted January 13, 2009 Hello, I was testing my Firefox 3.0.5 against my Maxthon 2.1.5,"uses IE engine, IE 7.0", on the download test using,"SMARTEST", on all tests. My ISP,"Comcast", is rated at 6.0 Mbps, it is supposed to have a download,"burst", of up to 12.0 Mbps. I consistently get scores for the IE engine, in this ball park: ===== Tuesday, January 13, 2009 === 4:23:56 PM ===== :::.. I just ran another test with Maxthon, it did not seem to have the same # of "linear subunits", this time and I got 14 Mbps! I disabled my SW Firewall for all tests, I have a Belkin router, it is a,"dual", HW FW, "NAT and SPI".
