My question is does wireless slow down ur connection speed at all or will i still be able to maintain 5 megs down on all 3 comps at once? Swimmer Posted February 21, 2005 CID Share Posted February 21, 2005 well here is the deal... when you go on wireless you are going to lose some speed due to the technology.. if you want to maintain the 5mb connection I would strongly recommend a 802.11 G series router.. You if you are surfing all at one time you will see a speed drop but that is like any other technology... I would recommend that you place the router near the fast computer and use ethernet to connected to the router.. that way you have one computer on ethernet and that computer will have the fast connection... Other than that it is just a matter of signal strength and tweeking you wireless connection..
