Wotzup Posted September 4, 2009 CID Share Posted September 4, 2009 Hello all, I have a new BELKIN N Wireless Modem - Router F5D8636au4A and ever since plugging it in, I have had one way Voice issues on VOIP. The voice adaptor is a LINKSYS SPA2100 I have been back and forward between the two tech supports changed the firmware twice and each say that it's not their fault, it's the other mob. Has any one else out there, come across this problem before?
zalternate Posted September 4, 2009 CID Share Posted September 4, 2009 I don't use VOIP, but, Quality of service settings(QoS)? An old review on the unit and a couple of setup details. http://www.voipuser.org/review_39.html .....One other thing that the SPA2100 had in its favour was the QoS bit
Wotzup Posted September 4, 2009 Author CID Share Posted September 4, 2009 Thanks zalternate, QoS has been checked. I was informed that there are several other people who have the same modem as mine but different adaptor models and are having the same issue ie one way voice and that BELKIN has sent one of them a letter saying that they will have to come up with some new firmware. So it looks like I have to wait for the new firmware or get another modem - router
