zalternate Posted September 17, 2009 CID Share Posted September 17, 2009 With the speed test I just did that was on your ISP's site...Well at least the ping is right..My download speed is about 5200Kbps and about 800Kbps in upload, to any other site on the web that has proper bandwidth.... I don't know if there is help. How is the speed test for you from your ISP site. Note that your ISP may fudge(as in a user to server test) the speeds that show up in the test, as the speed may not enter the Internet to be tested. I am not sure if they may be throttling connections through their server, to max out at a certain speed and ignoring the customers package rate. Anyone got any tweaks? azetect Posted September 18, 2009 Author CID Share Posted September 18, 2009 Oh look. A wiki on tm.net.my And an excerpt. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TM_Net And you know what? A 'best effort' means actually keeping your speeds near the advertised packages. 'Best effort' means that in case of hardware or software failure, a repair will be done as soon as possible. Best effort means upgrading a backbone with sufficient bandwidth, as more users come online. yup, i understand you mean. my isp service is hopeless and most of my country people hate it but we still don't have other better choice .
