Kyoshiro Posted March 1, 2005 CID Share Posted March 1, 2005 I'm currently using Optimum Online and my DL speed is usually around 400-460. But my UL speed seems to be capped at 16kb/s, and I have no idea how to fix this. I've tried changing my windows registry and it slightly boosted my DL speed, but my UL speed still remains the same. Some help would be highly appreciated.

Kyoshiro Posted March 1, 2005 Author CID Share Posted March 1, 2005 Is there a possibility that this might lower my speed?
VanBuren Posted March 2, 2005 CID Share Posted March 2, 2005 Is there a possibility that this might lower my speed? If you have a packetloss issue this might slow you down but, if you have packetloss, call your ISP and let them fix it VanBuren
Froggy Posted March 3, 2005 CID Share Posted March 3, 2005 Your uploading at only 15k because you got capped. Happened to me a few times. Call them up and ask to be uncapped. They will tell you why you where capped.
