gussie1276 Posted March 3, 2005 CID Share Posted March 3, 2005 I just purchased a brand new computer in January. I connect through a cable modem and I post both very good upload and download speeds so speed is apparently not the issue. The problem I am having is that when I either type in an address or I click on a link to navigate to another page, the page seems to stall upon loading about 5 seconds or more before it finally kicks in and loads. My old computer was a Celeron with a bogged down memory and yet the pages didn't load as slowly as some do on my new Pentium 4. Is there anything I can try in order to make my pages load more smoothly?
