UdLDeath Posted March 7, 2005 CID Share Posted March 7, 2005 If anyone knows the solution, PLEASE help me now. Whenever I open a folder anywhere on my computer, it gives me a message about how explorer.exe had an error with C++/buffer overruns, then everything on my screen dissapears for a second, then comes back. I know it's probably a virus, but I scanned, got rid of the virus and it hasnt made anything better,

Could be the Buffer Overrun exploit found in XP's Shell32 (explorer). http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=27d02af5-a2e1-4e25-9d16-502886161a35 This fix applies to:
