Odysseus_____ Posted March 9, 2005 CID Share Posted March 9, 2005 I was on a LOS (Line Of Sight) wireless connection at my old office... it was supposed to be a 1 meg full duplex connection, which in most cases we actually got better than that... but the problem was the latency between when you actually clicked a link, and when it started load.... sometimes you had to wait a few seconds... Once it started going though, it wasn't all that bad... The company was called BroadBand IP

bwt1953 Posted March 9, 2005 Author CID Share Posted March 9, 2005 This is LOS at my residence. Supposed to be/ started out as 1500/512. SkyNet Access in Northern Virginia. They're getting stronger every day. Have had DL speeds as high as 3500, but the upside still tends to be week. Latency problems here too. They know about it and have been working to address the problem.
