"Set your NIC duplex mode to 10mb half duplex for Cable, for DSL it depend on the ISP service unless you are using a router, if so then set it to 100mb full duplex for both Cable & DSL. If you are using a router make sure you have the latest firmware. I Don't know how to do this. 8. Power Cycled my modem. 9. No spyware or ad ware. 10. N/A i have eTrust For free from road runner. 11. I have eTrust firewall. 12. eTrust antivirus finds nothing. 13. All windows updates installed. 14. Ran Crap Cleaner. 15. I have downloaded cablenut and vanburens custom settings version 6 but i dont know which ones to use. Plz help. I have a dlink 514 wireless router w/ most recient firmware tho this computer connects through a wire. All computers in the network have slow internet however. My modem is a Toshiba PCX2000.
