SuperG03 Posted March 13, 2005 CID Share Posted March 13, 2005 Rumor has it that Verizon is going to drop the PPPoE requirement. REALLY!?! where did you hear that? Man, it would be much better if it were DHCP. Thanks. SuperG03

Ronnie1055 Posted March 15, 2005 CID Share Posted March 15, 2005 GernBlanston, a Verizon tech, mentioned it in one of the DHCP threads Verizon FIOS forum on dslreports.com. It was a passing comment so there is very little basis but we can keep our fingers crossed. Yes, I have seen many of Gerns post on dslreports... didn't realize he was a Verizon Tech. Yeah... dropping PPOE would be great... but I am not holding my breath. Cheers, Ronnie
