peepnklown Posted March 16, 2005 CID Share Posted March 16, 2005 http://www.madboot.com/ (might be able to help you boot up then load windows from CD) http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/miso-create-multi-os-cd-3.htm (might also help in making a bootable CD) http://www.smart-projects.net/isobuster/ (I believe you can extract the boot file from a CD with this program) Any other help might touch on piracy. bwt1953 Posted March 17, 2005 CID Share Posted March 17, 2005 if you already have the files, all you need is the boot disk - www.bootdisk.com
sholsten Posted March 17, 2005 CID Share Posted March 17, 2005 Doesn't Win 98 have to install from DOS anyway?
ljweser Posted March 17, 2005 Author CID Share Posted March 17, 2005 Biggest problem is no floppy drive so I have to make a bootable cd that boots into msdos somehow.
sholsten Posted March 17, 2005 CID Share Posted March 17, 2005 There should be a way to make a bootable CD for DOS, and then swap for the 98 CD after it boots. Or, I'll bet you could do both on one CD. Put the DOS on the root of the CD and then 98 in it's own folder. Boot and the change directory and type setup and go from there.
