CompMan Posted March 20, 2005 CID Share Posted March 20, 2005 Every time I take an Upload test, I'm supposed to be getting 512 up. But for some reason, I've never saw it over 450. That's b/s. I'm paying for 512, and getting under 450...how does that work? I've heard of tweaking, but I have no idea how to do that stuff. Ugh. Someone please help. VanBuren Posted March 20, 2005 CID Share Posted March 20, 2005 hey CompMan and welcome to the forum its very rare to go above cap upstream you need to add TCP overhead of around 10% on your score so a 450 Kbps score is around 450x1,1 = 495 Kbps and thats very close to the cap be happy, you wont go faster then this btw i checked your scores, you hit 497 Kbps once, then add 10 % and your above the cap VanBuren
