My speeds stay pretty consistent. Ran the tests again and just about the same as before. I'm on a laptop right  now and using an ethernet connection to get maximum speed. I can do wireless G via my Linksys WRT54GS router, but my download speeds get cut in half running encrypted most of the time. Wired it stays full tilt.

You might want to inspect your cables as well, or just get new ones, also I would call Comcast and let them know what happened so they can inspect their equipment too.

Lightning does weird stuff, hopefully it didn't do any damage to any more of your hardware.

Yeah, thats the thing, we already have had comcast out. They claimed everything was fine. Which obviously wasn't since I am usually averaging 4.0-4.5 now it's 2.8-3.5.
