Mooch1034 Posted March 25, 2005 CID Share Posted March 25, 2005 I have a computer that is connected wirelessly to a router that is connected to a cable modem. There are two other computers that connect directly to the router. The problem is that they can connect to the internet and I can't. My computer shows that my wireless connection is "very good" but I cannot get online to anything. Can anyone help me fix my internet? peepnklown Posted March 25, 2005 CID Share Posted March 25, 2005 I would first try to uninstall your wireless networking card from device manager and then reboot and let Windows detect and reinstall the card and LAN settings.
netmasta Posted March 25, 2005 CID Share Posted March 25, 2005 Does your router have IP filters? Some routers let you block certain internal (on your LAN) IP addresses from accessing the internet.
Mooch1034 Posted March 29, 2005 Author CID Share Posted March 29, 2005 I tried to reinstall my adapter, and it connected to the network perfectly. The internet still is busted.

peepnklown Posted April 1, 2005 CID Share Posted April 1, 2005 I highly doubt the router has default IP filters enabled without adding them manually (which it doesn
