BTW, what is the difference between upload and download? Does my slow upload speed effect how fast it takes to d/l mp3s? Thanks in advance for your replies! :::.. My results look a little slow to me, expecially the upload.[/quote'] Upload does seem slower when using Win98 instead of WinXP, but that's just my experience with it. My upload is slow either way. Download speed is how fast you can receive data from a server. Upload speed is how fast you can transmit data to someone. It has no influence on how fast you can download. It just tends to be small in comparison with download, because you don't need that much. Unless you want to host a server, but then you'll have to pay much more to get more upload.
