1.5M/384K is probably close to your maximum connection speed.

You can always try and tweak your computer and settings.

You did not tell us what plan you have from Verizon.  If you have their 3.0 DL plan then something is seriously wrong.  If you have thier 784 plan then you should be joyous.  But like the guy above said, you probably have the 1.5 plan, so you are only a bit down.  Still, you should be able to get 90% of that 1.5, which would put you a bit faster.

So make sure you go into the help forums here and do everything mentioned.

Also, call Verizon to check out your plan (if you are unsure) and to have them do a line check if something is amiss.
