bwt1953 Posted March 27, 2005 Author CID Share Posted March 27, 2005 If you are wanting to insert a router between your cable modem and your computer so that you can share your connection with other comps in the house, this is easy with the Linksys easy connect. You'll download a small diddy from Linksys. It will step you thru the process. Has worked very well for me http://www.linksysfix.com/check/index.html?CallerID=KB

VanBuren Posted March 28, 2005 CID Share Posted March 28, 2005 dern that router is messed up lol, it seem to drop small packets, so your speed is not affected much with larger packets try pinging nac.net with larger packets eg ping -l 1472 www.nac.net VanBuren
3DRiver Posted March 28, 2005 CID Share Posted March 28, 2005 If you are wanting to insert a router between your cable modem and your computer so that you can share your connection with other comps in the house, this is easy with the Linksys easy connect. You'll download a small diddy from Linksys. It will step you thru the process. Has worked very well for me http://www.linksysfix.com/check/index.html?CallerID=KB Thank you for the tip, & the linky! *bookmarked* !
