As we said before, ATI Multi VPU don't use any card interconnector although Nvidia does. In Nvidia's case you cannot even use two 6600GT or 6800 GT cards from two companies since there may be incompatibilities. ATI RD400 is going to paired up with ULi M1573 southbridge that supports Pentium 4, Pentium D and Pentium Extreme Edition processors, 1066Mhz FSB, Dual Channel DDR2-667, 6 SATA RAID and Azalia Audio.
