Not too bad for 1 meg down 512k up service and 2 miles from the switch

you should be getting some more out of it

where u running anything else at the same time

It's actually 1.0 meg...it is odd they don't have 1.5 meg but I think I've figured it out. I got the DSL through the phone company, and the phone company in turn is getting the access from a local ISP called Backroads which has it's own DSL with the 1.5 meg service so the phone company has to take the back seat so to speak. I would go with the 1.5 meg but it's $30 more a month through Backroads ISP. 500k is not worth 30 more to me.

Wasn't running anything else accessing the internet on those tests.....

Any suggestions to pep it up? I've done all the tweaks that I know of.
