destructionfever Posted June 6, 2005 Author CID Share Posted June 6, 2005 Also, after I use cablenut and tweak...Can I delete cablenut? The wife thinks that it had something to do with the hardrives crash lol. I would try to convince her it didn't but I'll just get my butt kicked. destructionfever Posted June 6, 2005 Author CID Share Posted June 6, 2005 Now that we have all the info and I did all the steps. I ran the diagnostic on my connection...in your opinion. How should I tweak using tcp optimizer? Thanks
FallowEarth Posted June 6, 2005 CID Share Posted June 6, 2005 I would use cablenut, and apply VanBuren's tweaks found here: https://testmy.net/topic-1013 Apply cablenut settings, be sure to be free of viruses and spyware, connect directly to the cable modem, turn off FW, AV, IM's, optimizers, and updates, etc that will be connecting to the net, then run download speed test @ testmy.net, post results.
