Gary Posted June 22, 2005 CID Share Posted June 22, 2005 Hello everyone. I came here in desperation, as with Charter Communications Cable, I've been running about 40-50 kb a second since I've had it. Now, I'm sure I should at least be getting 1mb a second..I've tried everything in the stickies, yet to no avail. The main reason I would like a faster connection is for my torrenting, which i download gigs of files, where I know people who download quite faster than I do. Any help will be appreciated! RTB Posted June 22, 2005 CID Share Posted June 22, 2005 If the stickies didn't help, then one of your last options is to contact your ISP, Charter in this case. Doing everything in the stickies to no avail would mean that the problem is most likely the connection to your modem. Have you tried getting a different computer plugged in there yet?
