I am not too big on technology and stuff and most of that stuff makes not too much sense to me. So how do i change those registrykey thigns or whatever, to tweak it. VanBuren Posted June 28, 2005 CID Share Posted June 28, 2005 if your advertised speed is 128 Kbps, be happy you hit 130 VanBuren

kamikaze3e Posted June 30, 2005 Author CID Share Posted June 30, 2005 Umm my downloads start at like 150 KB/second-ish but hten it just goes way down really fast like to 20 Kb/second
RTB Posted June 30, 2005 CID Share Posted June 30, 2005 That's because your browser starts the download once you click the link, but the speed display starts running from the moment you see the download taking place, which is after you picked a spot for a file to save to. The download speed from middle to end of the file are the most accurate because of this.
kamikaze3e Posted June 30, 2005 Author CID Share Posted June 30, 2005 SO is there any way to fix this?
tbaker397 Posted June 30, 2005 CID Share Posted June 30, 2005 Follow VanBuren's steps, but, if your capped at 128kbps, then the only thing you can do is sign up for a higher speed.
