Minhiscus Posted July 7, 2005 CID Share Posted July 7, 2005 What is the best way to burn avi files to dvd? My friend somehow burned 3 movies(decent quality) and only took up 1.71gb of the dvd+r. Does anyone know how to do this? Please teach me.
VampireXxX Posted July 7, 2005 CID Share Posted July 7, 2005 i use dvd decrypted ( bundled from my tvix ) with it's default settings it's so easy to use. just open the files and burn them into dvd and i get movies with good quality and small in size :D
Minhiscus Posted July 7, 2005 Author CID Share Posted July 7, 2005 so use dvd decrypter? I thought dvd decrypter is for copying dvd to the hard drive, but i'm not sure if it can do anything else besides that.
VampireXxX Posted July 7, 2005 CID Share Posted July 7, 2005 tvix is a removable storage. it's pretty cool though, can store abt 100 dvd and plug it to your tv and you can watch the movies continuously w/out dvd player, also you can use it for presentation too :D yea this dvd decrypted really is weird, it can copy to your hdd or burn it to dvd. have you try nero?? it can also burn to dvd w/ small size
peepnklown Posted July 7, 2005 CID Share Posted July 7, 2005 The AVI files were probably encoded using a type of MPEG 4 compression.
Minhiscus Posted July 7, 2005 Author CID Share Posted July 7, 2005 I tried nero already but I can only burn 2 avi files, while he had burned 13 25 min avi for me
VampireXxX Posted July 7, 2005 CID Share Posted July 7, 2005 my dvd decrypted has a compress option for avi files so the size is smaller when i burn them to dvd. sorry forgot abt that  will check them later.

MarkX Posted July 15, 2005 CID Share Posted July 15, 2005 I use NeroVision Express 3 to fit about 4 hours of Video on a single layer DVD while still keeping good quality. Its an awesome program for converting AVI
