Thank you both for your help. It turns out that Optimum Online did put a cap on my connection. I have no clue why, because no one here ever uploads anything. So the technical service at OOL removed the cap and apologized for what they did, and now I have really fast speeds. I also used your Cablenut calculator VanBuren, and it definitely increased my speeds even more. Thank you guys for all your assistance and advise.  This is a great forum. Keep up the good deeds!  :D
