telder Posted August 8, 2005 Author CID Share Posted August 8, 2005 I tried the smarttest and the individual test and they all came out around the same score...wish I could get up to the full 1mbps for upload so if anyone ahs a suggestion let me know. There's also just a handful of people in the city that have this service so far so I kno it's not an overload issue.
VanBuren Posted August 8, 2005 CID Share Posted August 8, 2005 do you use any tweaks? Like TCP optimizer, Cablenut, Dr.TCP? DSL is hard to tweak, but it works good for some and for some windows default is the best. VanBuren
telder Posted August 8, 2005 Author CID Share Posted August 8, 2005 I've tried those and I think the speeds I'm getting are going to be the best that I'm going to get.
VanBuren Posted August 9, 2005 CID Share Posted August 9, 2005 if you have cablenut installed, open adjuster and make a screenshot of your current settings for tweaking upload you can try setting your "Default Sendwindow" to 128000 and click save to registry and reboot if that didnt help, just blank out the value, click save to registry again and restart your PC VanBuren
