destructionfever Posted August 19, 2005 CID Share Posted August 19, 2005 Yeah elite, I'm in Pittsburgh,PA and though they still don't admit the upgrade...two funny things happened to me. First, I was getting 4.5 megs down forever. Then I gave comcast a call since I'm on the 6/768 plan. Then I asked about the speed upgrade to 8 megs. The woman sounded like she was not truthful. She says there was no speed upgrade available. Five minutes after I got off the phone I was getting speeds from 7.0-7.5. Couple of days ago I bought a new surround sound system and I placed all of my new equipment differently than my old stuff. I put my woofer further away from my modem and router than before. I think there used to be interference because check out my average scores now. :::..
