My speed is advertised at arouund 10000/128 . Some people on my ISP (optusnet cable) can get more from local servers.

I need a cablenut file for my connection. Thanks and any other tips are appreciated

Cable technology is not like ADSL, when less ppl using it, you can get faster than normal, but other way, you will receive a very slow download. Optus cable is sh*t anyway, try Internode or other ISPs then, forget about Optus.

You can try the TCP Optimizer, it works quiet well and hell easy to use.

P/s: Where is your location in Australia?

Edited: This is my result from the test, i am using iiNet ADSL2+ capped at 12000Kbps. With Cablenut tweaks, i could get some results at 1300 KB/s download. but it is not stable so just use the TCP Optimizer combine with Cablenut.
