All the servers except certain "Obscure citys" have bad speeds. All my fileplanet servers that I used to get 800kb/s constantly I now get the 137kb/s kinda speed. Any clue as to why? I live in MI btw and my comcast goes through chicago. Yet I get slower speeds in chicago than New Jersey?

vampares Posted November 22, 2005 CID Share Posted November 22, 2005 Servers have bandwidth limitations too Run a traceroute to good server and bad server If the comcast equipment is the same (which it will be due to modern day peering points) then you found the popular and unpopular server You can call comcast and give them shit anyways though -- toll free
