bent240LV Posted December 24, 2005 CID Share Posted December 24, 2005 my frined has a netgear wireless router and is using it with is laptop. He cannot connect to the internet he can send packets but it wont recieve packets at all. I also just tried to hook the modem directly to the laptop and it only recieves like 2 or packets and thats about it. all the lights are properly lit on the cable modem and such but no internet. what could be wrong? oh yeah forgot to mention that his computer is in chinese, damn, how can i change that?
