I have had hughes/net/direway system for about 2 years, very poor service, I just got ADSL from our local phone company and it is cheaper and a lot faster, if I knew 2 years ago about how bad Direcway was, I would have stayed with dail-up.

ok, it is doing it again today, more than once, so how do I check for a grounding problem, and how can I fix it? help would be appriciated

Hi everyone, I had a constant Suspected Recent Satellite Link Outage for the pass 3 day, just on and off during the day. Called hughes and this is how it was fixed, went to internet, type in 192.168.0.1, clicked on Home, then restart DW 6000, it restarted and corrected the error. don't know if it will stay fixed, but I hope this info is helpfull to someone, Have a great day.

I have a DW6000, was wanting to know if the DW7000 would be a lot of improvement over the DW6000, or not much? just thinking of upgrading if it a lot better. in the mornings I am running about 12 faster than dial-up, evenings running 4 or 5 faster than dial-up, is this normal for most DW customers?

I use to have trouble with windows messenger, so I deleted it completely, and went to MSN.com and download the MSN Messenger, and it worked better for me.

hello everyone, I check my download speed in the mornings and it is around 18-20 faster than dial up, but in the evening is only about 3-4 times faster. I test it about everyday, and is always fast in the mornings. I have DW6000 had it for a few months, very happy with it.
